Could be racing here twice in a week, well who knows, bit of action aplenty in the lead up to Magic Millions and a shortened midweek card gives us a chance to build a balance. We will be racing on a soft 5 track with the rail out nine metres for the entire course and the first race to jump at 2.13pm.
Race 1: MAIDEN (1000M)
Tough race to start the day here however the form around Andi Don’t Care looks ok for this and at and each way price easy to entertain. She comes off a nice second to Autumngirl on the heavy last start and the second placed finisher Chemiomosis has since won so there might be something in that form.
Race 2: MAIDEN (1600M)
Not keen here, Ioanceltic wouldn’t surprise back in trip for Waller, his standard plan with horses.
Race 3: MAIDEN (1200M)
Have to be with Ecclestone here even from the wide draw. Was very good last start and beat home Facundo who absolutely destroyed them yesterday at Ipswich. He has the early speed and should be able to cross them here and hold on late.
Race 4: Benchmark 70 (1000M)
Just back Termagant, Damien Lane on is the key here, the Southern jockeys dominated on the weekend and he can be winning here.
Race 5: Benchmark 78 (1845M)
Texas Fireball got an absolute stinker ride down in Randwick last start but from barrier eight here and with the 54 kilos on the back looks pretty well in here. He should be able to sit very handy in the field and unleash that turn of foot that he started to show last start.
Race 6: Class 1 (1200M)
Caspernova comes in with two sharp trials and one of those beat home Smart Recognition and yes he was poor last start but Caspernova can be too good here first up with form last preparation around Navyonthehighway.
Race 7: Benchmark 68 (1400M)
Not keen on the last race.
