Well let me tell that the only way I would want to be pumped up for the listed races at Doomben on Saturday is to make my way through a classy card at Gatton including a few maidens, some Class 2 racing and the time honoured benchmark 65 Gatton Cup Saturday 26th June benchmark. If there is a day for mug filled races this is our day to shine.
With the soft 5 surface, the wind up and a three hundred metre straight let me tell you I think on pace and early moves will be the flavour of the day. In the first two events of the day we have two maidens and a few first starter so there a definitely pass races.
While the third is yet another maiden we have the Gollan vs Munce yard battle royal here and looks to be a nice match race. I have sided with the munce trained My Girl Rocks with the early toe. From barrier ten I am hoping our fisherman friend Bobby El-ssa takes off from the gates and just keeps going to the finishing post. If he leads round the corner should be winning this.
Love Yers All in the benchmark 65 is the go to runner here. Will be stalking the pace with Accessory and Conquer the Stars leading them off and after a classy win in town two starts ago the odds on price sounds about right to me #multibuidler.
Off to the quaddie legs and we have the class two and class one face off an these are some seriously interesting races, at least that is how we see them. The 860 metre dash is always a hot affair and while Mr Stacks should lead this but cannot make it a bet on the last run. The next event is simple as that Miss Mckinley sends it from the draw and the rest of the field with see nothing but her behind as she bolts in this race just add it to the Gatton mulit we are building.
The final two races just aren’t tickling my fancy so I will be waiting to absolutely truckload into #beanbanger, #mozzasmusthave and #lloydyslock on Saturday. Punt well mugs.
